Expert of the Month: Tom Lepper
Mr. Lepper's areas of expertise include: tire failure analysis, vehicular component failures, brakes, suspension, power trains, air bags, fuel systems, vehicular fire cause and origin, and vehicle theft and forced entry issues. He has been involved with automobiles and racecars, which he drives, for more than thirty years. He is a Sports Car Club of America, and Porsche Club of America, Safety Technical Inspector, and a member of the Southwestern Association of Technical Accident Investigators.
He has completed seminars in Vehicle Fires (Lee S. Cole and Associates), Tire Failure and Analysis (National Police Training Institute), and Accident Reconstruction and Low Speed Impact Classes (Southwestern Association of Technical Accident Investigators). He has handled hundreds of cases relating to issues involving automobile component failures or fires. His experience includes extensive photography and video use. He has extensive deposition and trial experience where his hands-on experience is very effective. |

Expert of the Month: Lindsey Philpott. P. E. Our expert of the month holds a BS and an MS in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed Civil Engineer and holds a California State Certified Water Treatment Plant Operator (Gr. IV) license.
His professional experience includes domestic and international design reviews, engineering studies (tracer study, SWTR compliance, sludge dewatering, hazmat and trash compacting, storm water compliance), design and engineering of water/wastewater treatment facilities (reclaimed water, sludge composting, trash compactor, hazmat/hazwaste facility), pricing structure analysis and preparation, RFP preparation and presentations, budget preparation/analysis, engineering analysis (computer flow simulations using mainframe, water distribution/wastewater collection master planning), pilot plant design operation and analysis (asbestos removal, color reduction, oxidation, polymer optimization) and personnel evaluations. |
