Arrgh-it’s not just for pirates-or in other words-mea culpa

Feb 10, 2014 by

We screwed up and didn’t catch it until it was too late.

Scratch that-not we, but I screwed up. My Excel spreadsheet mail merge scrambled the first names for this month’s entire February 2014 Garagram mailing.   Yes, of the thousands of mailing pieces sent out last week, not a single one had the right first name.  Last name and company and  addresses-just fine, but the first names and salutation were completely random.

One firm in Beverly Hills was kind enough to bring this to our attention, and upon investigation, it wasn’t just their company, but all of the first names were wrong.

I sincerely apologize for my error.  I’ve met many of you and certainly don’t mix up your names.  I am so sorry that I did this and I am thoroughly embarrassed.  Mea Culpa.  If you would like to be deleted from future mailings, feel free to call our 800 number (800-229-3647) and we will not darken your mailbox again.  Or if you would like a copy of the February Garagram with your correct name, we can do that too.

Sincerely,

Doug Garrett
