Bruce E. Krell, Ph.D.
Dr. Krell has a PhD in Applied Math. He has 35 years experience as a ballistics researcher engineer, 15 years experience as a firearms trainer, 5 years experience as a gun dealer, gunsmith, and 5 years as an expert witness. During this 5 years, he has been appointed to over 80 cases, and testified in about 40 of those cases. Over half of his cases have been in the area of Shooting Incident Reconstruction. His shooting reconstruction approach uses witness statements, physical evidence, the laws of physics, mathematics and geometry to synthesize the sequence of events. As a result, he is generally able to answer the questions as to who, what, when, where, and how. As an experienced firearms trainer and gunsmith, Dr. Krell evaluates issues regarding the operations of firearms from a systematic and practical understanding of how a specific firearm operates to discharge the cartridge.
